Lokayukta issues immigration alert against sacked IAS couple

Lokayukta police today issued alert to all immigration authorities to detain Arvind Joshi and his wife Tinoo, both IAS officers who were dismissed from service following a charge sheet filed against them in a disproportionate assets case, as police could not trace and arrest the couple as directed earlier by a special court.
The special court, which had earlier issued a arrest warrant against against Tinoo and Arvind and his two NRI sisters last month for their alleged involvement in the Rs 42 crore disproportionate assets case, on Tuesday reissued the arrest warrant against them with a direction to produce them before the court by 22 September.
The court has directed execution of the arrest warrant against Arvind's NRI sisters Abha and
Vibha through Interpol via CBI.
