Listen up Delhi

A study reveals the shocking statistics related to missing children in the capital. Data from National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) shows that on an average 18 children go missing in Delhi every day. Delhi also accounts for 11.7% of total crimes recorded against children at national level.

CRY and APR - Alliance for People’s Rights is organising a public hearing on missing children. This public hearing for missing children is an attempt to strengthen the child protection mechanism in the capital. It will also seek recommendations for better understanding and responsive strategies while dealing with such cases. The hearing is going to be attended by parents of missing children, NGO’s, members from NCPCR and DCPCR and Delhi Police.
