Lights, camera, action!

Pratham Jolly is emerging as one of the most promising Bollywood personalities. In lieu of his contributions to the film industry, he has been conferred with the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for best screenplay in the movie Kya Dilli Kya Lahore.  Known for his creative abilities, Pratham knew what to do since his college days. Soon after completing his graduation in Commerce from Delhi University, he took Diploma in Cinematography and moved to Mumbai.  

With his excellent cinematography skills, Pratham, 36 years, is the proud recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which is India’s highest award in cinema. Dadasaheb Phalke Award is presented annually at the National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation set up by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The recipient is honoured for their “outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema” and is selected by a committee consisting of eminent personalities from the Indian film industry.

 Pratham’s work includes, Creative Director and Screenplay Writer for Kya Dilli Kya Lahore — presented by Gulzar, Executive Producer for Best Friends Forever (A short film for <g data-gr-id="17">Edumedia</g>), Assistant Cameraman to Vishal Sinha for <g data-gr-id="18">Vanvaas</g> (A short film starring Piyush Mishra and Ayesha Reza).
