LG raps civic body over poor sanitation

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Tejender Khanna pulled up local civic body and summoned four deputy commissioners of the North DMC on the state of sanitation in their area.

The issue of sanitation and de-silting was also raised in the house meeting on Monday where councillors expressed their concerns over poor pre-monsoon de-silting of drains.

Khanna had apparently summoned the four deputy commissioners last month to discuss the poor sanitation and garbage collection.
