Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Tuesday launched a mobile app named “Find x Toilet” created by a young consultant Ishan Anand as part of the Swachh Bharat Initiative, not only to locate a toilet nearest to your current location, but also to improve quality and upkeep of public toilets in Delhi. This mobile app will prove to be very useful in locating the nearest toilet, especially a clean one.
During the launch, Ishan Anand, while making a brief presentation, informed that anybody can now download this app from their Android mobile as this facility has already been made on those mobiles.
He also explained that the mobile app will facilitate better upkeep of public toilets by concerned public agencies. He will communicate the latest status of toilets upkeep to concerned municipal agencies and DDA on regular intervals.
LG, on the occasion, urged all the three Municipal Corporations as well as DDA to make use of this mobile app to upgrade the existing conditions/services of public toilets and also help in updating the locations of all the public toilets which do not figure at present.
He appreciated the efforts made by Ishan Anand in preparing “Find x Toilet” as a part of the Swachh Bharat Initiative for improving the conditions of public toilets in Delhi.
