Ghaziabad police on Thursday arrested Jitender Yadav, member of Legislative Council from Noida on charges of misbehaving with government officers and disrupting them from discharging their duties.
According to police Jitender Yadav, who is nephew of former BSP strongman DP Yadav, was constructing some structures on government land.
A case is still pending in court, regarding these constructions. The land in question is over one acre and is situated in Hindon Vihar area along Grant Trunk (GT) road.
 ‘Yadav came here with his supporters and started construction. Yadav and his supporters misbehaved with the team of police officials and local administration, following which a case was registered and they were arrested,’ said superintendent of police, Ghaziabad city.
