Lawyer found dead in car under mysterious circumstances

A senior lawyer, working at Gautam Budh Nagar district court, was stabbed to death by unidentified persons in Greater Noida on Thursday night. Police found his body in a pool of blood from his car.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev alias Tiger (47), a resident of Kheri village in Greater Noida. He was working as senior advocate in the district court since past few years.
According to police, the incident came into light at 8.30 am on Friday when cops in a patrolling PCR spotted a Santro car at service lane of Dadari-Surajpur area. He was identified with the help of his vehicle documents.
Sanjay had multiple injuries on his head and other parts of the body. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and informed his family member.
On complaint of Pratap singh, father of the deceased, a case of murder has been registered against unidentified persons at Noida phase-II police station.
The police informed that Sanjeev had left his house on Thursday morning and later talked to her wife at 9 pm saying that going towards Delhi to meet one of his relatives but later his mobile phone was switched off.
‘As we investigated the crime scene, it was discovered that Sanjeev was murdered at some other place and his body was placed in car later as his body was wrapped in a bed sheet. We have recovered a water bottle, and a female’s scarf. We are investigating the case and are trying to unearth the mystery behind the murder,’ said RK Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Noida.
Meanwhile, lawyers of the district court on Friday condemned the increasing cases of crime against the lawyers these days and demanded immediate arrest of the accused involved in the case.
