Landlord’s son lures 4-yr-old with chocolates, rapes her

A four-year-old girl was raped by their landlord’s son on the pretext of giving her chocolates. According to the police, the landlord, Monti Singh (36), has been arrested.

Police said that the incident took place on Friday when the girl was alone in her house in Sagar Pur colony of South-west Delhi. Her mother, who works as a nurse in a private hospital, and her father, who is an employee in an airline, had gone to work.

“The mother found the girl unconscious when she returned from her job at noon,” said a police officer. On the girl’s statement, the landlord’s son Monti Singh was arrested on charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Police said the man entered the girl’s house on the pretext of giving her chocolates.

DCW Chief Swati Maliwal meanwhile, visited the girl who is undergoing treatment at Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital. She tweeted: “4 year old raped for a month by landlord’s 36 year son. Workin mother, accused told her not to hire maid, said he wil look after child. Sick”.

In a similar incident, a three year old girl was raped by a labourer at a construction site next to Adarsh Nagar Metro station in North-west Delhi. Police have arrested the accused, Bhim Rai (35).

According to the police, the incident took place on Wednesday evening when the child’s parents had gone out for work.

A case under relevant sections of POCSO Act has been registered against the accused at the Adarsh Nagar police station.

DCW chief visited the child who is undergoing treatment at BJRM hospital. She tweeted: “Visited 3 year old girl in Babu Jagjivan Hospital, raped by 40 year old in Adarsh Nagar on Holi eve. Bled profusely, girl is v poor, anemic.”
