Lalit Modi to wait longer for RCA election results

Former IPL czar Lalit Modi will have to wait some more to know the result of his bid to head Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) after the Supreme Court on Monday postponed hearing in the matter to 4 March. Elections to the cricketing body were held on 19 December 2013. However, BCCI also said on Monday Modi was a clear winner getting 26 out of the 33 votes, while adding he could not have rightfully contested as he is already facing life ban for allegedly swindling 80 million dollars from IPL.

BCCI said if Modi, facing life ban, gets elected to RCA management then the board would have no option but to suspend RCA.
