Kwality gets rights to ‘Kwality’ art work for dairy goods

Dairy firm Kwality on Thursday said it has secured rights from its founding father P L Lamba to use the '<g data-gr-id="13">Kwality</g>' artwork for its dairy products and beverages.

In a BSE filing, the company has said it has "obtained the permitted use of <g data-gr-id="14">Kwality</g> artwork confined to its use in relation to dairy products and beverage offerings (excluding usage in the ice cream, ice lollies and frozen desserts)". <g data-gr-id="15">Kwality</g> further said it has entered into an arrangement with Lamba and obtained the rights to use '<g data-gr-id="16">Kwality</g>' artwork, which he had created. At present, <g data-gr-id="17">Kwality</g> is selling its dairy products under the brand name 'Dairy Best'. "The name <g data-gr-id="18">Kwality</g> has been synonymous with every Indian for decades. We will be launching a series of high-margin value-added products under <g data-gr-id="19">Kwality</g> to deliver an improved bottom line and market share," <g data-gr-id="20">Kwality</g> said.
