As part of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week being organised by The Embassy of Sweden in memory of Swedish innovator and philanthropist Alfred Nobel, the two-day celebration would be kicked off this Friday.
Embassy sources said they have also procured the original text of the nomination for Tagore's Nobel Prize from the Swedish Academy and would be displaying it in Kolkata during the event to be inaugurated by their Ambassador Harald Sandberg.
Besides Tagore, the Nobel Memorial Wall would also commemorate other Indian Nobel laureates like physicist C V Raman and economist Amartya Sen.
The corridor, which will be a permanent structure at the busiest station in Kolkata, would recall their glorious achievements with photographs and documents.
