Woman held with Yaba tablets

BALURGHAT: BSF jawans under 180 battalion recently conducted a special anti-narcotic drive and nabbed a woman with 800 amphetamine tablets, commonly known as 'Yaba' from Hili international border, around 26 km from here.

The accused has been identified as Mosammat Firoja Begam who hails from Bangladesh's Dianjpur district, police said. Acting on a tip-off, a team of BSF detained the woman with Yaba having market price amounting to Rs 4,00,000 from her possession.
