On Tuesday Gagana's father, Darpan Raj Singh filed a complaint against the girlfriend and two others for allegedly beating up his son. As soon as the complaint was filed, police initiated a case charging the accused persons for voluntarily causing hurt. None have been arrested till Tuesday night.
Local sources informed that Gagan took the flat on rent in August. Soon, after he moved in, his girlfriend used to visit him regularly.

Police sources informed that Darpan stated his suspicion about his son's girlfriend, who was present with the deceased in his room along with two others, who might have murdered Gagan.
