An eye-witness said: "They wanted to catch the bus at Patiram. This is an example of reckless driving." Aditya condition is said to be critical. All the three persons belong to Nizirpur, around 10 km away from here. Bodies of the deceased persons have been sent for post-mortem to Balurghat hospital. Police from Patiram outpost and Balurghat reached the spot. The van driver fled from the scene after the accident. An investigation is on. The mishap led to huge traffic congestion on the national highway for about one hour. Normality returned after police intervention. "Preliminary investigation revels they were riding the bike without wearing helmets. The van rammed the motorbike near Khorna, a few km away from Patiram.
