TMC leader murdered

BALURGHAT: A local TMC leader in Gangarampur was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants on Friday night. The deceased, identified as Santosh Das (61), was the party's booth-level president of Damdama. The police are investigating the case. No one has been arrested till reports last came in. Police said Das hailed from Gangarampur's Kaldighi area.
