South Eastern Railway gets new GM

Kolkata: Sanjay Kumar Mohanty has been appointed as the new General Manager of South Eastern Railway. The announcement was made on social media.

"Shri Sanjay Kumar Mohanty, (IRTS) has been posted as General Manager South Eastern Railway. Mohanty's contribution towards Indian Railways is noteworthy," read the Facebook post of South Eastern Railway.

Mohanty, an alumnus of the Delhi School of Economics, belongs to the 1985 batch of Indian Railways Traffic Service. He has served as Principal Executive Director, Railway Board. He has worked for Indian Railways at Mumbai, Nagpur, Jhansi, Khurda and in Konkan.
