Sobhandeb launches music album of Abar Basanta Bilap

Kolkata: State Power minister Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay released the music album of upcoming Bengali feature film Abar Basanta Bilap, on Wednesday. The film will be released on July 13. Chattopadhyay has both acted as well as sung a song in the film. The Power minister is quite popular among his friends as a Rabindra sangeet exponent.

The cast of Abar Basanta Bilap includes industry veterans like Paran Bandyopadhyay, Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Moon Moon Sen and Bishu Mukherjee.

Basanta Bilap, a hugely successful comedy film and the upcoming film's spiritual predecessor, was released in 1973. Directed by Dinen Gupta, the star-studded cast included Soumitra Chatterjee, Aparna Sen, Rabi Ghosh, Anup Kumar, Kajol Gupta, Sumitra Mukherjee and Chinmoy Roy.
