Sanjay Budhia escapes unhurt after his Audi hits divider

Industrialist Sanjay Budhia had a narrow escape when the Audi car he was travelling in hit the divider on Maa flyover recently.

The accident took place when Sanjay Budhia was approaching Park Circus along Maa flyover after attending a function in Salt Lake on Saturday afternoon. The driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the road divider after the brakes failed.

The vehicle had to be towed away later by the cops. The car had a similar problem some time ago near Uluberia when HP Budhia, chairman of the group, was on his way to Balasore. Sanjay Budhia said he had no clue as to how could the vehicle manufactured by a top luxury car manufacturer, Audi, which is famous for its engineering precision develop such brake failures. The police said a major accident had been averted as the vehicle was moving at a slow speed.
