Salary hike for teaching and non-teaching staff of Madrasas

Kolkata: Monthly remunerations of teaching and non-teaching staff of Madrasas in the state is set to be enhanced from April 1 onwards.

With the notification issued by the state Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department, the staff of Madrasah Siksha Kendra and Sishu Siksha Kendra will be getting Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,500 more every month as compared to that of the present pay structure.

The notification states that the matter of enhancement of monthly honorarium or remuneration of mukhya samprasarks or samprasarikas, clerks and group D-staff of madrasah shiksha kendras/ madhyamik siksha kenrdas (senior Madrasah type) and sishu sikhsa

kendra under the Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department was under consideration of the government for some time.

Now, the state government has decided to enhance the monthly consolidated honorarium or remuneration of the teaching and non-teaching

staff. The state Finance department has given approval for the same.

They will also be receiving the arrear as well as it has been decided to make the new pay structure effective from April 1 of 2019.
