Prime accused in airhostess molestation case arrested

The prime accused in connection with the molestation of an airhostess in a moving taxi was arrested on Saturday.
The incident of molestation had taken place on Wednesday.
Police said that the accused Sayan Bandyopadhyay, who was arrested on Saturday in this connection, is a resident of Baguiati.
The driver of the taxi was arrested on the same day the accident had taken place and subsequently, the police initiated a search for the prime accused.
After preliminary investigation, the police came to know that the prime accused is a resident of Baguiati and arrested him from his residence.
The airhostess was harassed in a moving taxi when she was heading towards the airport. Despite her repeated requests, the driver had not stopped the taxi and the prime accused had continued harassing her.
Finally, she had approached the CISF personnel posted at Kolkata Airport for help. But the accused had managed to flee by then.
