Pratim Chatterjee passes away

Kolkata: Former Minister of Fire Brigade during the Left Front regime Pratim Chatterjee passed away today at Salt Lake.
He died in a private hospital at Salt Lake at around 10 am this morning. He was 79.
The former Forward Bloc Minister, undergoing treatment since sometimes back, has been suffering from breathing and liver problems due to advanced age.
Chatterjee, who was an MLA from Tarakeswar Assembly constituency, was also associated with several theatre and drama groups.
Left Front leaders Biman Basu, Suryakanta Mishra and others condoled Chatterjee's demise.
