One killed, 2 others injured in 2 separate accidents

A 21-year-old man was killed and two others injured in two separate accidents in the city on Friday.A motorbike hit a roadside railing in South Kolkata, Lake area.

Locals said that the rider failed to control the two-wheeler that was at a high speed at the intersection of two roads in Lake area. While the rider of the bike was declared brought dead when taken to hospital, the pillion rider is still fighting for his life.

In another accident at Chitpur in North division of the Kolkata Police, a 55-year-old man accidentally fell from a bus at the intersection of Raja Manindra Road and Northern Avenue.
