NSCBI Airport observes 150th birth anniv of Gandhi through 'Swachhta Abhiyan'

Kolkata: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport observed the 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by undertaking 'Swachhta Abhiyan' at Airports Authority of India (AAI) residential colony premises on Tuesday.

According to a spokesperson of the city airport, the officials took Swachhta pledge under the leadership of Atul Dikshit, Airport Director, Kolkata.

A tree plantation drive was undertaken to reiterate the airport's commitment for a greener surroundings.

On September 28, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata gave the due credit to some of the unsung heroes who have been working relentlessly towards a cleaner India by saying 'Thank You' to all the housekeeping staff of the airport for their efforts & support.

A drawing competition for children of kindergarten school of AAI Colony was held. The kids' painted on the theme 'Clean India, Green India' where the kids put colour to their thoughts.
