Name of another woman who had affair with Udayan crops up

The mystery behind the Akansha murder case deepens as the police are yet to get trace of another woman with whom Udayan Das had got engaged into

an affair.

The police have come to know that before getting in touch with Akansha, Udayan had an affair with another woman identified as Jayashree. She was a resident of

Bhopal and was the daughter of a colleague of Udayan's mother.

During interrogation, the accused confessed about his relationship with other women apart from Akansha. The police have got names of Jayashree and another

woman Puja. Both the women were residents of Bhopal.

The police are yet to get any satisfactory information about Puja. At the same time, they have failed to get a trace of Jayashree. Though the police are not yet

confirmed, they have an apprehension of whether Udayan also killed and buried Jayashree somewhere.

Police came to know that Jayashree was ready to get married with Udayan. But it did not happen as her mother was against their marriage. The state police have contacted the local police in Bhopal and trying to fetch more information about the two women.

The police have also gotten hold of some photographs of Puja in compromising position with Udayan.

Udayan further told the police that he had killed Akansha on mere suspicion that she had an extramarital affair with one Bikash Singh, who was a resident of Bhopal. He used to suspect that Akansha used to keep touch with Bikash over the phone and it had led to a scuffle on the day she was strangulated.

After killing Akansha, Udayan had called 22 times on Bikash's cell phone. But no one had picked up the call.

Police also came to know that Udayan had managed to get fake passports in the name of his father.
