NDITA to ask IT companies to make employees work from home

Kolkata: Nabadiganta Industrial Township Authority (NDITA) will request the IT companies at Sector V to ask their employees to work from home, as a precautionary measure against the spread of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

A webinar (online seminar) to discuss the matter will be held at NDITA on Wednesday. Representatives of National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) will be present at the webinar along with the senior officials of NDITA including its chairman Debashis Sen. Medical officers of NDITA will also be present at the meeting.

The NDITA authorities have requested the IT companies to ensure that the employees wash their hands frequently and special attention should be given to those who have come back from their foreign assignments. NDITA has also suggested work from home for majority of the employees.
