Missing city girl found in Bengaluru

Missing city girl found in BengaluruKolkata: A 16-year-old girl, who went missing from the city, has been rescued from Bengaluru and brought back to Kolkata. Sources said the girl went missing in the beginning of August and subsequently her family members lodged a complaint with the police. They initiated a probe and was undertaking various measures to find her out. In the meantime, city police got information that the local police have rescued a girl in Bengaluru and came to know that she is the same girl, who went missing from Kolkata. A team comprising officers of Kolkata Police went to Bengaluru and brought her back. During investigation, cops came to know that the girl was confined to a rented room in Bengaluru. Acting on a tip off, local police conducted a raid and rescued the girl . They have detained one and are in search for another person in this connection . City police suspect that the girl was taken to Bengaluru after giving false assurances.
