Man's ear chopped off over dispute
Kolkata: A person got seriously injured after his ear was chopped off by another person on Thursday night. No one has been arrested in this case till Friday night.
Locals informed that victim Sujan Singha is motorcycle mechanic by profession and lives at Sabdalpur village in Baishnabghata, Malda. Approximately, a year ago a resident of the same area Liton Singh asked Sujan to fix it.
Sujan fixed the motorcycle and demanded Rs 1,500 for his work.
Instead of paying the amount, Liton kept delaying to make the payment.
Sujan asked for his money several times but Liton did not gave him. Liton used to delay it everyday. On Wednesday again, Sujan went to Liton's home and demanded the money.
But Liton as usual refused and said he would give the money soon.
However, Sujan did not let go and demanded the money immediately.
Both of them got involved in a minor scuffle and were taken away from each other by locals.
On Thursday night, Liton and some others attacked Sujan with a sharp weapon.
He stabbed Sujan on his right ear and chopped off a portion of it. Accused persons immediately fled the spot. Sujan was rushed to Malda Medical College where he is undergoing treatment. No one has been arrested in
this case.
