Mamata congratulates 'magnificent' Mary Kom

Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated M C Mary Kom for winning her sixth gold medal on Saturday to become the most successful boxer in the history of Women's World Championships.

"Congratulations Mary Kom for winning a record sixth world title.

"We are proud of your golden achievement at the Women's World Boxing Championships..." Banerjee posted on her official Twitter handle.

Mary Kom on Saturday became the most successful boxer in the history of Women's World Championships by winning her sixth gold medal with an unanimous 5-0 result over Ukraine's Hanna Okhota at the AIBA World Championship in New Delhi.
