Mamata congratulates Indian cricket team for Test series win

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Monday congratulated the Indian cricket team for its maiden Test series win in Australia, calling the feat a historic achievement.
"Congratulations. Today, the Indian cricket team wins its first ever Test series in Australia. This is a historic achievement. We are proud of you," Banerjee said in her Twitter handle.
India won the four-match series 2-1 after the Sydney Test ended in a draw on Monday.
India achieved the feat after a wait of 71 years.
