Live bombs seized from Dinhata school

Cooch Behar: Police have seized live bombs and bomb making tools from a school situated at Dinhata block 1.

Senior police officers went to the spot and seized the bombs. Tension ran high when bombs were recovered from Bamanhat High School. Umesh Ganpat, sub divisional police officer, said investigation is on. Police evacuated the school buildings and conducted a thorough search operation. The rooms from where the bombs were recovered are not in use. Locals saw some empty bottles on Tuesday night and immediately reported the matter to the school authorities.
