Land owners to get mutation certificates sooner

Kolkata: In a bid to help land owners get mutation certificate within 48 hours of buying a plot, the state government has decided to make it mandatory to get mutation done soon after registry. According to a senior official of the Land and Land Reforms department, one has to go for online-application for mutation of a plot soon after the registry. It has been learnt that the new system is going to become mandatory from January 1, 2018.
