Bikram Chatterjee told to reconstruct chain of events on accident day

Police on early Monday morning took actor Bikram Chatterjee for the reconstruction of the chain of events that took place on the day when Bikram's car met with a fatal road accident in which his friend and model-turned-actor Sonika Singh Chouhan was killed.

Meanwhile, Bikram has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody after being produced before Alipore court later on Monday. It has been learnt from sources that a little after midnight, a team of police officers took the accused to those places where the actor had visited along with his friend Sonika.

The investigating officers also made a video of the entire enactment of the series of incidents. Bikram was asked to enact the whole incident that had taken place on the night of the incident. Police officers are now verifying his earlier statements with that received during the reconstruction of the incident. Police have also gathered some important information while interrogating the actor during his police remand in the past few days. It may be here mentioned that Bikram has changed his statement thrice which has confused the investigating officers. Police suspect that it was a deliberate attempt made by the accused to misguide the investigating officers.

According to a senior police officer, Bikram has given some important information relating to the incident of car crash that had led to the death of Sonika and left Bikram just injured.
