ED summons Sovan

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Mayor Sovan Chatterjee for questioning in connection with Narada sting operation. He has been asked to turn up in the office of ED at Salt Lake next week.

In connection with the development, Chatterjee said: "I am busy with some of my work and would come to know about it after reaching home. It was well known that they will be summoning me as they are probing into it." The ED has also summoned MP Sultan Ahmed and deputy mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) Iqbal Ahmed. They were also asked to visit the ED's office next week.
