CID arrests two for running sleaze racket

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested two persons on charges of running a sleaze racket at Kestopur, under the jurisdiction of Baguiati police station.

A CID team reached the spot on Sunday morning and arrested two persons – identified as Sudipta Choudhuri (30) and Mrinmoy Saha. The investigators interrogated them to get more information about the racket. Two minor girls were rescued from the flat where Choudhuri and Saha were running the racket.

The investigators learnt that Choudhuri, a resident of Balurghat and Saha who resides in Dum Dum were running the racket for the past couple of years. The investigators are searching for the owner of the flat from where they arrested the accused persons.
