The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday interrogated the former SP of Burdwan SMH Mirza in connection with the Narada sting operation.
On the other hand, Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Syed Tazdar Ali Mirza, alias Tiger, in similar connection. Both of them were questioned for around seven hours.
SMH Mirza went to the CBI's office at around 11.45 am. Sources said that the CBI officers have shown the video footages of the sting operation and asked him to give his view on it. His statement has been recorded.
Meanwhile, Tiger went to the ED's office at around 11.30 am and he too was questioned for nearly seven hours in the investigating agency's office at Salt Lake. The ED officers who are trying to ascertain the money trail in this connection, asked Tiger to tell them about Narada News CEO Mathew Samuel, who was also being interrogated by both CBI and ED officers in this connection.
After ED, now CBI has summoned Tiger. He has been asked to turn up at the CBI's office on Friday.
