TMC worker injured after miscreants shoot him on street

Debabrata Fauzdar ( 29), a Trinamool Congres worker, was critically injured after two unidentified miscreants shot at him early on Tuesday morning.
He was taken to Bolpur sub-divisional hospital where he was admitted in a critical condition. No one has been arrested in this connection yet.
According to the police, Fauzdar, who is a fish vendor, was on his way to the Nanur Bazaar bus stand. Two miscreants stopped him near Bonogram-Charcal village
and fired at him from point blank range.
They left the spot leaving the victim on the road bleeding profusely. Attracted by the sound of gunshot, some villagers went to the spot and found the victim lying on the road. They took him to the Bolpur sub-divisional hospital. The miscreants had pumped two bullets on his legs. The doctors said his condition is very critical because of heavy loss of blood.
Anubrata Mondol, district Trinamool Congress president alleged that BJP was trying to create trouble in the district to malign Mamata Banerjee.
