ER observes International Level Crossing Awareness Day

Eastern Railway on Friday observed International Level Crossing Awareness Day all over its jurisdiction to disseminate awareness on safety at level crossing gates. Harindra Rao, General Manager, Eastern Railway distributed informative brochures and leaflets on safety rules at level crossing gates to passengers and the general public. These were also distributed at the level crossing at BBD Bag station on Friday morning to mark the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that every passenger should be cautious while crossing the railway track and avoid talking on mobile phones while passing through level crossing gates to ensure that not a single life is lost due to haste or carelessness. Other senior officials of ER were also present.
