Minor IPS reshuffle

In a reshuffle in the IPS cadre of Bengal, senior IPS officer Sanjoy Mukherjee has become the Director, Security. Mukherjee, an IPS officer of 1989 batch, was ADG Security and now he is the Director, Security in the rank of ADG. The 1985 batch IPS officer Virendra has been made the Director General of Police (Armed Police). He was earlier Director General of Police (Security). Pranab Kumar Das, who is an IPS officer of 2003 batch, has become the DIG (Administration). He was earlier posted as DIG (P and W).
