Higher Secondary results to be out on May 30

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHS) has notified that the West Bengal Board Results 2017 will be published on May 30.

According to a senior official of the WBCHS, students will be able to check their results on the state board's official website from 11 am onwards.

The council will officially announce that the results are out at its office through a press conference at around 10 am following which, the results will be dispatched to the respective schools.

This year's result will be published within 61 days since the conclusion of the examination. The results will be available on wbresults.nic.in and www.wbchse.nic.in. The candidates can also know their results through messages.

According to a senior official of the council, the number of girls appearing for the examination was higher than that of boys this year.

It may be mentioned that West Bengal Board Secondary Education (WBBSE) has also decided to publish the results of the Madhyamik examination later this week.

According to a source, the results may be published on May 26. But there is no official confirmation of the final date of the result.

The decision was taken after the senior officials of both WBBSE and WBCHS held meeting with the state Education minister.
