15-year-old boy found dead in park near Tiljala, authorities clueless

Mystery shrouds the death of a 15-year-old boy whose body was found inside a closed park near Tiljala police station on Thursday morning.

Police said the victim, Md Imtiaz, was a local resident and had been missing from his home since last night. His body was found inside the park on Thursday morning by some local people when they started searching the place after failing to find him anywhere else.

A police officer said that the boy had gone out of his house on Wednesday evening saying that he was going to play with some friends. His parents did not stop him as they believed that he was just going out to play like every other day.

They started to get worried when the boy didn't return late into the night. They initiated a search but couldn't find him. They then contacted all their relatives and the friends of the boy. However, no one could shed any light on his whereabouts. Thus, they had finally approached the police, who also tried but failed to locate the missing boy.

A pall of gloom descended over the family and the locality in general after it was discovered that the boy's dead body had been found behind some bushes in the closed park.

Police said that the park had been lying closed for several years and hardly anyone used to enter the place. Now, they are trying to find out if the boy had entered the park on his own volition or if he had been forced to enter it by someone else.

The police have spoken to some of the victim's family members to ascertain if he had had any major rivalries or enmities. The body has been sent for an autopsy.

A police officer said that the case is somewhat mysterious as there were no injury marks on the body. Thus, the cause of death will not be discovered until the post-mortem report has been released.
