4-day fair to help tech, science aspirants

The Association of Professional Academic Institutions (APOI) is going to organise a four-day pre-counselling fair and seminar between June 9 and 12 at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.

The purpose of the four-day meet would be to provide students appearing for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) with the right kind of guidance during the process of admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture in government colleges and self-financed institutions across the state. The process shall be undertaken through online counselling.

With a similar objective in mind, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has opened 33 mock counselling help centres in 17 districts, with one situated in Agartala, Tripura. These centres have been operational from May 15 and will continue up to May 30 between 11 am and 5 pm, including holidays.
