Youth held for submitting fake documents

Bidhannagar City Police arrested a youth on Tuesday on charges of submitting fake documents for getting a job in a primary school.
The accused, identified as Ranjit Goldar was arrested from Nadia's Haringhata. Police said that the youth had submitted some fake documents at the West Bengal Board of Primary Education a few months ago.
He claimed that he had cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) but had not received an appointment order from the board.
The board assured him that it would verify his claim. Later, officers of West Bengal Board of Primary Education found that Goldar had submitted fake documents.
"We have arrested the youth on the basis of a complaint lodged by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. The accused will soon be produced before the court," said a police officer.
A few months ago, police had arrested three persons for allegedly running a fake website of the Primary Education department and publishing the results of TET.
Based on a complaint lodged by the secretary of West Bengal Board of Primary Education at the Cyber Crime police station, police had arrested three identified as Tapas Adhikari, Surya Kanta Sashmal and Partha Gopal Paul from Esplanade area.
"These accused persons have given us some clues about fake job rackets in Bidhannagar," the officer added.
