This Mother's Day, special lunch and dinner at Café Ekante

Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) has for the first time planned a unique way to celebrate Mother's Day on May 14. The second Sunday of May is celebrated as Mother's Day globally.

Take your mother to Café Ekante where a special menu for lunch and dinner will be served to the guests on the occasion. The guests will be given two free tickets to Mother's Wax museum. At a time when thinkers and scholars all over the globe have come up with suggestions to renew the bonding between parents and their children, especially between them and their mothers who are considered to be the best teachers, the gesture of HIDCO with a human touch has been appreciated by children who live in New Town. Rita Sengupta, who spent many years in New York and recently settled in New Town plans to take her 75-year-old mother to Café Ekante. "This is a nice way to celebrate Mother's Day. I have spent more than half of my life in the USA and could not spend time with my mother. She is also very excited to go for the dinner."

Amitava and Soumi Dutta too have decided to take their mother for lunch at Café Ekante. "We stay in South Kolkata and have never visited the restaurant but heard about it from our friends and relatives. It will be a little outing for us next Sunday with Mom."
