SSC declares exam results, appointments still pending

The results of the written examination of the School Service Commission for recruitment to Classes IX and X were published on Monday evening. The Commission, which had conducted the examination last year, has published the results within a few months of the test, despite the process being stalled due to some cases pending in the court. Although the state government managed to publish the results on Monday, the process of recruitment will not start anytime soon due to the pending court cases.

"Candidates who had appeared for last year's examination will find their results on the Commission's website. The candidate can find their result by inputting their date of birth and their fourteen digit roll number into the software. It is a simple process," said a source at the Commission.

"They will be able to download an e-information sheet from the Commission's website. The result is being published for verification of documents. The schedule of the verification process will be available on the Commission's website very soon," the source added. Names of over one lakh successful candidates will be featured on the list.

"We cannot recruit now as there are cases pending in the court on this issue," the source further reported.
