ISKCON's Chandradaya temple reopens
Kolkata: Chandradaya temple at Mayapur, the headquarters of International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) reopened on Wednesday.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic the temple was first closed on March 25. It was reopened on July 5 and again had to be closed on August 9 to stop spreading of the pandemic.
The timings of darshan will be from 9 am to 7 pm.All visitors will have to enter from gammon gate where each vehicle will be sanitised.
Then all the visitors will be screened and sanitized before entering the temple campus. They will have to wear masks and to ensure that they maintain physical distancing the entry gate has been separated from the exit gate. The visitors will have to maintain six feet distance from each other. The temples, restaurants and toilets will be sanitised frequently. Prasadam will be given free to the visitors, said Subroto das, head communications, ISKCON, Mayapur.
