Isale-Swab Mahefil of Furfura Sharif to begin on Sunday

The historical Isale-Swab Mahefil of Furfura Sahrif will begin on March 5, 2017 at Furafura Sharif and will continue for three days.

About 35 lakh pilgrims will take part in the famous holy Mahefill.

A large gathering from Bangladesh, Assam, Tripura and Bengal, along with people from various parts of the sub-continent will attend the holy gathering for purification of their inner soul.

It is customary for the Mahefill to start after the Salat of Fazr and prayer at the Darbar Sharif.

The holy program will be started by the president of Hizbullah namely Pir Allama Alhaj Abu Ibrahim Md Obaidullah Siddique.

Interestingly, no microphones or sound systems will be used in the Mosque or in any organisational program at the gathering.

Fraternity and integrity is maintained by people from all corners, irrespective of their religion, caste and colour.

Entry of ladies and smoking, drinking etc will be strictly prohibited during the programme.

Every day, the Jikr-e-Majlish and prayer meeting will be observed in the morning and evening.

On March 8, Akhri Monajat will be observed before closing ceremony of this meeting.
