IPS, WBPS cadres see reshuffle

Kolkata: In a reshuffle in the IPS and WBPS cadres in Bengal, eight Additional Commissioners of Police and three Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP) have been changed.

Among IPS officers, Rahul De, who was ACP of Howrah Police Commissionerate, has become Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Kharagpur in West Midnapore. Md Sana Akhtar, who was ACP Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate, has become SDPO of Uluberia in Howrah. Yeilwad Shrikant Jagannathrao, who was ACP of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate, has become SDPO of Alipurduar.

IPS officer Arnab Biswas, who was Additional Superintendent of Police of Howrah (Rural), has become Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Nadia, with HQ at Tehatta. Tanmoy Sarkar, who was Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Nadia, has become Additional Superintendent of Police Birbhum.
