Hoax call threatening blast at HC

Panic broke out at the Calcutta high court premises on Thursday afternoon following a phone call threatening a bomb blast. The anonymous caller threatened that bombs have been planted near the gates of the High Court. Cops were called in from the New Market police station rushed to the spot. The bomb disposal squad and dog squad of the Kolkata Police were pressed into service. The parking lot was also searched. Police came to know that the caller had spoken in Hindi and initiated a probe to find out the caller.
