Graft case: Wife of accused officer submits documents to ED

Kolkata: Sangeeta Singh, wife of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Ramesh Singh, submitted relevant documents to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in connection with the case of graft charges against her husband, for amassing disproportionate assets beyond the known sources of his income.

Sources said that the ED officials have asked him certain questions in connection with the case. It was on June 28 that the ED had conducted raids at six different places including Park Street, Behala, Charu Market and Baruipur in this connection.

The investigating officers had seized certain documents from the houses of Singh and also directed them to submit some more documents.
