ER GM inspects Kanchrapara Workshop

Kolkata: Harindra Rao, general manager, Eastern Railway, inspected the Kanchrapara Workshop on Tuesday. He visited various sections of the workshop like TRS Carriage, Loco Mechanical, Heavy Erection section, etc. and suggested various measures for further improving production of the workshop.
The general manager also held a meeting with Manoj Mahajan, chief workshop manager, Kanchrapara and other officers of the workshop, in presence of principal officers of ER Headquarters and senior officers from the Division. Rao was apprised of the performance of the workshop in the meeting.
Rao planted saplings at the Kanchrapara Workshop premises, for improving the environmental condition and also flagged off a refurbished EMU rake from the workshop.
